Whitehead earned an away Bonus point over Blackwood Stars RFC in difficult conditions. Our roving reporter, Dai Hards, gives his report:-
The game kicked off in very blustery conditions. Whitehead were keeping the ball in hand and after a good handling movement Will Brown scored a try which was not converted. Blackwood were using the wind very well and were rewarded with a penalty which was converted. Whitehead replied with a penalty kicked by Davey Mulroy. After a good handling movement Tom Kilby went over for a try converted by Davey Mulroy. Blackwood replied with a penalty. Whitehead were passing the ball well in difficult conditions and after a bout of good handling Davey Mulroy went over for a try which he then converted.

The second half kicked off and after some poor handling by Blackwood Will Brown scored a try under the posts which was converted by Davey Mulroy. Whitehead were now putting Blackwood under a lot of pressure and eventually Lyndon Collins went over for a try which was not converted. This was followed by a try for Andrew Yeoman which was not converted.
