The game kicked off in wet and windy conditions. Whitehead were playing with the wind. After a period of pressure Josh Channing scored a try under the posts which was converted by Davey Mulroy. St Julians went on the attack and were rewarded with a try in the corner which was not converted. Whitehead began to put St Julians under a lot of pressure and were rewarded with a penalty converted by Davey Mulroy. After further
pressure by Whitehead Tom Ireland took a quick penalty and dived over for a try which was converted by Davey Mulroy.

The second half started with the conditions getting worse. Whitehead seemed to adapt to the conditions better than St Julians. After a period of pressure by the Whitehead pack Bailey Davies crashed over for a try which was converted by Davey Mulroy. Whitehead kept the pressure on and Owen Pearson went over for a try which was not converted.
