It is with great sadness that Whitehead RFC announce the passing of a valued ex-player, committee man & treasurer, Ian James.
Ian passed away on Tuesday 26th October in the comfort of his home with his wife & family who nursed him following a battle with cancer.
Last Thursday before our game with Machen RFC, we held a minute silence in his memory.
Ian was a great clubman & will be sadly missed. He was highly regarded at the club & his recent support to the senior team was monumental when we won the league a few seasons ago.
